Smart Swim School Illness Policy

Children should not be brought to lessons if they feel poorly or could be contagious in any way – this includes

  • Colds, flu – Fever, green snot, feeling unwell, no sleep.
  • Chicken pox – Until the last spot has scabbed over.
  • Slap cheek – Until given the all clear by GP
  • Tonsillitis – Until given the all clear by GP
  • Viral rashes – Until given the all clear by GP
  • Hand, foot and mouth – Until given the all clear by GP
  • Impetigo – 48 hours after antibiotic cream.
  • Croup – Until given the all clear by GP
